How to make a compact mirror

There are many ways to make a compact mirror at home using materials such as aluminum foil, cardboard, acrylic paint, glue gun, scissors, and tape. You can cut out different shapes from the material and arrange them on top of each other. Here’s one possible approach:

Cut the cardboard into two rectangular pieces that measure 5 inches by 3 inches

Cover one piece of cardboard with foil, leaving a small border around the edges. Trim away any excess foil.

Apply double-sided tape along the sides and bottom edge of the second piece of cardboard, leaving the top open. This becomes your frame.

Tear off small strips of foil and shape them around the border of the first piece of cardboard to create a decorative pattern.

Glue these foil stripes onto the frame, so they line up with the edges of the cardboard. Press firmly until dried.

Allow all the elements to dry completely before use.
