What are the common manicure tools and uses

The most commonly used manicure tools include: cuticle scissors, nail clippers, a cuticle pusher/cleaner, tweezers (for splinters), white sticky strip remover, buffing blocks, rubber grips, cuticle oil applicator and metal files (straight & half moon shaped).

It is always important to practice safe habits when using manicure tools. 

Firstly, make sure to clean all tools before each new client using an alcohol based cleaner. Then, never share tools among clients. Be gentle when performing tasks such as trimming and filing the natural nails.

And always inform the customer if adjustments need to be made due to shortness or brittleness.

Remember to sanitize tools after every single use by soaking them in fresh disinfectant solution each time.

Lastly; wash hands thoroughly and frequently during appointments to prevent cross contamination from touching surfaces without gloves on between clients.
